UTICA, NY -- Junior Sarah Wiatr (Poland, NY/West Canada Valley) of the Utica College women's track & field team was named the Empire 8 Field Athlete of the Week, the NYSCTC Field Athlete of the Week and the College's Female Athlete of the Week on Monday. She took home first place and set a new indoor school-record in the triple jump with a leap of 11.55 meters (37'10.75") as the Pioneers placed ninth at the RIT Tiger Invitational Saturday.
