Utica, NY (11-28-12) – Five Pioneers from the Utica College men and women cross country teams were named to the 2012 Empire 8 Cross Country All-Conference Teams.  For the men, junior Morgan Payne (Williamstown, NY/Altmar-Parish-Williamstown) was honored with first–team status and senior Hunter Padgett (Clinton, NY/Clinton) earned second-team recognition and sportsman of the year while freshman Ashton Villeneuve (Holland Patent, NY/Holland Patent) was named to the first-team and classmates Sarah DePalma (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) and Rianne Erlwein (Jeffersonville, NY/Sullivan West) were selected to the second-team.
